Welcome to my weekend bets blog. Here I will be sharing all my bets from the weekend with you. The main day I will be focussing on here will be Sunday, although there is some Saturday action mixed up in there as well.
There are various coupons and types of bet I place with various bookies to make sure I am getting the best value around and here I plan on sharing those bets with you, along with the reasoning behind doing so. Here are my bets for the weekend commencing Saturday 20th May 2017.
The first bet I will mention from my weekend bets is my Super 6 selections. This is free to enter each week and gives you the opportunity to pick up £250,000 if you can correctly predict the six score-lines from the six games Sky bet choose to select. It’s pretty much as simple as that.
There is score based system so that you can create your own leagues, as well as cash in a £5,000 prize if you fail to predict all six scores but get the most points from that week. Points are awarded as follows.
- Two points for a correct result (but wrong scoreline).
- Five points for a correct scoreline.
30 points is needed to pick up the £250,000 but if you miss out and end up scoring high twenties, you will be well placed to pick up the £5,000 consolation prize. In the event of a tie a tiebreaker question is asked whereby you must submit which minute you think the first goal will be scored from the six games on offer. The nearest to the answer in a tie break situation takes the £5,000 prize.
If two or more people win, the jackpot the prize is shared equally. This was unfortunately the case back in January 2015 when 55 players correctly predicted all 6 results, leaving a jackpot prize of just £4,545 each despite odds on all 6 score-lines totalling 60,661/1. Still £4,545 is still a nice amount considering the game is completely free to play.
Here are my predictions for this weekend’s game.
To play Sky Super 6 you must sign up and register for a Sky bet account. This process is also free and you can get rewarded with £20 in free bets when placing your first £5 bet.
The pundits have made their predictions for this weekend. These are posted most weeks on the Skybet Super 6 app. See what the pundits think for this weekend’s fixtures below.
Sky Bet Fantasy Six-A-Side.
As we are on the subject of Sky bet I will also share with you my Sky bet fantasy six-a-side team. A relatively new game from Sky bet that is also free to play and gives you the opportunity to win another £5000. Pick your six most fancied players from the Super Sunday match and if you are the highest points scorer of the day £5,000 could be yours. See the next fixture this game is available on from the image below.
You have to select a key player from a shortlist and then five others. You can choose to select a goalkeeper or six outfield players, the choice is entirely up to you. You also pick a power play which is a 15 minute spell where you pick up bonus points if your team members score within this period.
It’s certainly worth a look and a try if you haven’t done so already. Here are my selections for the coming fixture.
It’s also worth noting that players will not be subbed out if they do not end up playing so it is always worthwhile checking the team sheet when it is released to ensure your six players are featuring. If not you can then quickly make last-minute adjustments to give yourself a better chance of winning.
Again you will need to be a Sky bet registered user before you can play this game for free. If you have not done this already you can do it from the button below.
Paddy Power Hotshots
Another completely free game to take advantage of here hosted by Paddy Power. Paddy Power will give you eight matches and all you have to do is predict an anytime goalscorer from each of those particular eight games. Get them all right and you could win a prize jackpot of up to a whopping £250,000! Worthwhile adding to your weekend bets in my opinion.
There’s no minimum amount of spending needed in the week to play and gives you another great chance to win a substantial amount of cash without having to put your hand in your pocket. You have to be in it to win it, so why not give it a try this weekend? I certainly will be and below you can find my eight selections for the games involved.
Once more you need to register for a Paddy Power account to play. The process is very straightforward, only takes a couple of minutes and also gives you a new customer reward of 3 x £10 bets when you place your first £10 bet. That’s an extra £30 bonus for you! Goals Galore coupon
I also enjoy participating in the Goals Galore coupon and a small wager here is a normal feature of my weekend bets. This is a mobile friendly coupon that is dedicated towards the both teams to score market. This market is becoming ever more popular due to the fact you can still have an interest in the game even if one team are leading heavily. As long as both teams score before the final whistle your bet wins. the more selections you add to your betting slip from the coupon, the bigger the odds and returns back if the bet wins.
The Goals Galore coupon is run by Betfred and is available from the Betfred app. You will need to be registered to be able to play and will also require you to place a stake once registered (i.e the Goals Galore coupon is not a free game). Here are my selections for this weekend’s Goals Galore coupon.
Register today and get £30 in free bets once registered. Simply make your first bet a £10 selection after registering and the free bets will be placed in to your account within 48 hours of your initial bet being settled. Click below to go straight to betfred.
bet365 have a very nice euro soccer bonus promotion available on accumulators from the elite leagues around Europe. This bonus boosts your winnings by a particular percentage if all of your selections come in. The more selections in your accumulator, the more percentage bonus is added to your winnings. See the table below for the boosts received depending on the size of the accumulator. The boost received gives me the reason to make this a part of my weekend bets.
As you can see the bonuses stop at 14-folds so we wouldn’t recommend going any higher than that. The fact that the offer is only open to the Elite leagues means you are a little restricted in your selections, but if you like betting on the Premier League, Serie A, Primera Liga, Bundesliga 1 or the Champions’ League then this bonus will work out quite nicely for you.
Here are my selections that returns around 370/1, plus a nice 20% bonus on top should it come off.
Sign up with bet365 and get a deposit bonus that gives you up to £200. Register for a free account and bet365 will match your first deposit up to the value of £200. This is one of the biggest rewards currently available and worth snapping up if you haven’t done so already. Click below to go straight there.
William Hill accumulator.
There is a good reasons why I am placing this with William Hill and why this makes up part of my weekend bets. The reason is that five-folds or greater are covered by acca insurance (as long as odds are greater than 1/5 on each selection) so if one team lets me down I get my money back as a free bet.
With it being the last day of the Premier League on Sunday I am fancying a lot of draws, especially when most teams do not really have anything to play for. A big risk here with six draw predictions so I am only going with a small stake here. Boy will there be a smile on my face if they all come in. Almost £7,000 back from a £3 stake. Here are my selections this weekend.
New customers can also claim £30 in free bets when registering and betting £10. To get this new customer offer click the button below and register using promotional code C30 when prompted throughout the sign-up process.
My weekend bets can be found here every week, or alternatively you can follow me on the Bettracks app. I use this app to track my bets each week and the app has a feature that allows other users to view your tracked accumulators. Download the app, search for betting apps using the user search feature and then tap follow.
You will also get notifications within the app to let you know every time I place a new tracker on the Bettracks app. Give it a go, it comes highly recommended from us. You can download the Bettracks app both on iOS and Android here – http://app.bettracks.co.uk/
That makes up my weekend bets blog. Plenty to look at and consider when looking at placing your own bets. Feel free to share your own bets with our community on Twitter. Feel free to comment on our selections or just keep up to date with our quirky news and score updates. There is obviously a lot of hype In this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final game between Chelsea and Spurs. This seems to be where the bookies main focus is for their promotions and we will be sharing the best value ones throughout Saturday on our Twitter feed.
Good luck with whatever it is you decide to bet on this weekend and please remember that odds shown were correct at time of writing, bet responsibly and only bet what you can afford to lose.
