International Football Betting Predictions – October 2019

International football Oct 2019

Another competitive international break is upon us with Euro 2020 & World Cup qualification games lined up from both Asia and Europe. This provides some good betting opportunities to those who hold an interest.

Games are scheduled to take place from Thursday 10th, right the way through to Tuesday 15th October. I will be making a prediction on what the outcome will be across all of the competitive international matches within this period.

There are also plenty of international friendly matches that are being played out, that punters are able to bet on. However, I tend to ignore these games as friendlies, in their very nature are very unpredictable.

It is difficult to foresee how experimental managers are prepared to be and what exactly each team is looking to get out of the game. Therefore my advice is to steer clear from adding these to your accumulators – even if the prices look of good value.

Those who have not taken the liberty already of signing up for a BetVictor account can benefit from odds of 30/1 on England beating Bulgaria. A nice introductory way to boost your bank roll. The maximum qualifying stake on this offer is £1 and in the event England do manage to this win, returns are paid by way of free bets rather than funds that can be withdrawn.

Signing up takes two minutes and this could be a very nice way to earn plenty of free bets for the International action ahead. You can read more on this offer, redeem it and register from the link below.

New Customers only. Max bet £1 on England to win – Match Betting – 90 Mins v Bulgaria. Enhanced odds paid out as free bets with a 7-day expiry. Cashed out bets excluded. Offer valid from 09:00BST on Friday 11th October 2019 until 19:45BST on Monday 14th October 2019. Min £5 deposit. Credit/Debit Card deposits only. Geo Restrictions apply. T&Cs apply.

What are my predictions based on?

My picks are based upon a number of factors

  1. Current form – Also taking into consideration quality of opponents
  2. Recent head-to-head results
  3. How each team performs home and away – Respective of the situation in question. (i.e. Home form for the home team and away form for the away team)
  4. Strength of squad available – checking injury reports and taking in to consideration the quality of players available to play.

This isn’t an exact science but should give you a quick indication of what outcome to expect, based on current and recent historical statistics. Therefore saving you the hassle of having to dig through the data yourself when looking for that quick single or chunky acca.

I research the data first and come up with my predictions before checking the odds for each game in the outright markets. It’s very easy to be influenced by the way the odds fall. I tend to find that it is far more difficult to spot the value if I check the odds before forming an opinion from the stats first. All predictions below are purely based on the stats and have not been influenced in any way by the current odds market situation.

How will I be betting?

With the Asian kickoffs being sporadic, I will be looking for value singles and doubles here rather than building up big multiples. I much prefer to keep my accumulators to times when there are a lot of matches on at the same time. The European matches are much more suited to accumulator betting because of the more consistent kick-off times, in my opinion.

Who to bet with?

Different bookmakers suit different types of punter. One thing that is certain though is that there will be plenty of offers to entice you in. Keep your eye out for those offers you feel offer particular value towards particular games you feel confident in predicting.
