An international break is upon us, once more disrupting the usual weekend league accumulators. However, there are still plenty of opportunities to look at especially as this round of international games is a competitive one.
Competitive matches only
Countries all around the world are facing off in their pursuits of World Cup and European cup qualification. There are also a few international friendlies scheduled, however I won’t be looking to bet on these fixtures. Competitive fixtures generally bring about full strength team choices and therefore, hopefully a more reliable source for predictions – especially if you are looking to bet before team sheets have been announced.
Competitive international matches take place between Wednesday 4th September right the way through to Wednesday 11th September.
This gives way to plenty of accumulator opportunities, be it on a specific day or across the whole week. I will be providing predictions across all of these fixtures in terms of win/draw/win, as well as outlining any value bets I spot that are in line with my thoughts and opinions.
Monday 9th September
Below you will find a full run down of competitive fixtures, followed by my prediction. You will also find my recommended value singles, doubles and accumulators for the day. All prices displayed were correct at the time of publishing.

Slovakia to beat Hungary brings back fantastic value in my opinion at 3.25. Especially as Slovakia beat Hungary 2-0 back in March. Slovakia are playing away and reeling a little from a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Croatia. But Hungary also fell to Montenegro last Thursday to dampen down the morale of a previous three-win streak. Poland and Slovenia to win isn’t the safest double you can place, but does offer good value odds against likely outcomes, in my opinion. Both teams are playing at home and although these teams do not have top quality players spread all over the pitch, they do have top players within the squad capable of turning games on their side. They both also show a good all round team ethic. best odds on the double here were at 4.23 with Unibet
All of the clear away team favourites makes up a nice five fold today including
All of these teams are clear favourites to win their match. A nice cover bet maybe here as odds are still quite low when considering it involves five selections. However any of these teams who do fail to win their match should have a proper look at themselves!!! Best price here at time of writing was 2.73 with Unibet.
