The Best Betting Apps In The USA: All Legal Apps

Welcome to, the home of betting apps from around the world!

We encourage all of our readers to gamble responsibly. Betting should be a leisurely activity that brings extra fun or excitement to a specific event or occurrence. It should not be viewed as a means to an end and users should not risk betting with money they cannot afford to be without.

Keep betting under control and keep the experience a positive one to you and to those around you. If you feel your habit is getting out of control you can find links to gambling support networks in your area at the bottom of this page under “Responsible Gambling Links”.

New Jersey Betting Apps

New Jersey is already up and running to accommodate US sports betting apps at venues and remotely throughout state lines. There are a number of casinos and bookmakers who already have their offerings live and available to bet on. You can check out which betting companies are currently open for online wagering from our New Jersey guide below.

New Jersey is the real leader in the market currently will over 10 companies offering online and mobile sports betting in the state. The main sports teams have all picked up official gaming partners in the first 6 months. Sports Betting has very quickly become a main steam pass time.

There are now 14 legal and licensed betting companies available for NJ residents. These cover some European names as well as US DFS companies such as Draft Kings and Fan Duel. We’ve been through the apps rating them to find the best in the State.

Delaware Betting Apps

Sports betting in DelawareDelaware is not quite ready yet for full online sports gambling, but like many states, online horse racing betting is permitted.

As long as you are a Delaware resident and over the age of 18, you should be able to get an online TVG betting account. TVG is officially licensed to offer horse racing betting online across the States and offer prices you would expect to see from on-site betting establishments. If you like betting on the horses TVG is well worth checking out although you do have to be 21 to use TVG. You’ll get a $125 bonus as a new customer to TVG when you join via the button below (21+, Ts and Cs Apply)

As well as TVG you can still access, as previously, Draft Kings, Fan Duel and the Delaware state lottery for a form of betting. You can access the DFS apps from the age of 18 in the state.

You can also gamble legally at three casinos with the sportsbook provided through a partnership with William Hill. At this time it is deemed to be too expensive to launch online sports betting in the State although we would expect that to change at some point soon.

Nevada Betting Apps

Nevada has offered US sports betting apps for nine years now and (for the obvious reason of PASPA) have the most experience of all states. Therefore Nevada holds the most choice in betting apps too. Apps such as William Hill, MGM, Atlantis Reno, Boyd, CG Technology, are all readily available to download. State users will need to register in person however to start wagering on these betting apps. The US sports betting apps are available to both residents and non-residents as long as you are within the borders of state lines. Geolocation technology is used to pinpoint every user’s location, making it physically impossible to wager outside state territory. Some apps will not allow you to enter outside of the state. Others will, with the options to view the information only – taking away the facility to actually wager. Available betting apps in Nevada State
  • BetMGM
  • William Hill
  • Caesers App
  • Wynn Sportsbook App
  • Station Casinos Sportsbook App
  • BConnected Sportsbook App
  • Atlantis Casino Sportsbook App
If you cannot get to one of the above locations you can still bet on horse racing through the TVG app where you can register online or on mobile.

Mississippi Betting Apps

On the 1st of August 2018, Mississippi was the second state to go live and bets started being placed straight away. They had pre-approved legislation ready for when the federal ban was overturned. You can place sports bets at any of the 27 casinos in the state but you have to be at the location to do so.
Whist you can do this via betting apps on your phone it checks that you are in that location before allowing you to place your bets. Sports betting from outside these locations is not currently available. We would expect to see it soo with casinos already having partnerships with mobile betting providers in other states such as William Hill and BetMGM.

We’ll keep you posted with any updates on any statewide changes to mobile betting.

Iowa Betting Apps

Iowa has opened up its doors to mobile gambling within the state to residents and visitors aged 21 or over. The current legal setup requires those people who are looking to wager from their cell phones to register physically at a land-based casino first. Although this may sound like a bit of an inconvenience, it is only required once and then users can freely wager from their favorite mobile devices, as long as they are within state lines.

Pennsylvania Betting Apps

Four of the twelve casinos across Pennsylvania are currently in the process of petitioning to offer online and mobile sports betting across the state. These are Parx, SugarHouse, Hollywood Casino and Harrah’s Philadelphia.

We are expecting more to come on board but as yet none have been approved. Approvals are expected to be handed out in the coming weeks. Once approvals are confirmed the casinos can then prepare their online sportsbook offering accordingly. This process is likely to take a while, especially with casino and poker being prioritized over the sports betting site.

We are anticipating online sports betting offerings to begin to become available some point into 2019. We’ll keep you updated throughout the legislative unravelling process so keep coming back to get the latest developments regarding sports betting throughout Pennsylvania.

West Virginia Betting Apps

On the 30th of August 2018, West Virginia joined the sports betting party with their own unique set of rules, which do allow mobile sports betting across the state. They offer betting on all sports apart from High School teams and any eSports events where any participants are under the age of 18. West Virginia became the third state live and operational with legal mobile gambling.

Rhode Island Betting Apps

Headway is starting to be made in Rhode Island. There are encouraging signs of mobile gambling being operational throughout the state in the near future. Bills are in the process of being considered. As such, US sports betting apps could start to appear on the horizon this year. A fog of uncertainty still surrounds how the whole operation will work in relation to multiple vendors or not, but as bills start to pass, the clearer the picture will be.

The initial bill will require new customers to register in person, similar to how Nevada operates currently. However, New Jersey is doing a good job showing the nation that online registration is a plausible (and much more efficient) method of registration. We expect amendments to be made to the system as time progresses as people learn and mould this form of entertainment into the state culture. In short – the state’s not quite ready yet, but it soon will be. watch this space.
