We understand you may have some uncertainty about pending IPL bets after the suspension of the league. So we contacted a few operators to illustrate how betting apps manage such situations.

What Happened With IPL 2025?

Due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the BCCI decided to suspend IPL 2025 for a minimum of one week.

"Further updates regarding the new schedule and venues of the tournament will be announced in due course after a comprehensive assessment of the situation in consultation with relevant authorities and stakeholders," board secretary Devajit Saikia said in a statement.

We thought it may help to go to a few betting apps and ask them what their rules were regarding pending IPL bets to help you out (in case you had placed your bets and wondering what happens to your money).

What Happens To Your Pending Bets?

Firstly, unless a match was completed, you won't lose your money in case you had a pending IPL bet that wasn't settled when the league was suspended.

We contacted three betting apps to find out how they settled your IPL bets: 1xBet, Rajabets and 4rabet.

FYI, we also contacted BC.Game but their customer support took a long time to respond, which we were rather disappointed by. Still, BC.Game is one of our recommended bookmakers, and your bets will be settled based on their wagering rules so you don't need to worry.

Here's a bit of information of how they responded as well as their actual rules to ease your mind during this IPL suspension.

1xBet App

300% Up To ₹50,000 Use promo code BAPPSVIP

Through our journey, we have been extremely impressed with 1xBet and how they have helped bettors in India. 1xBet also provided support in Hindi by default, which may help you based on your lingual preferences.

During this tough time, they were extremely clear to us when we reached out to them that any pending IPL bets will be settled based on the rules, and users in India won't lose their money.

This is their rule as brought to our attention by 1xBet:

PRE-MATCH betting. If a match or competition is postponed (rescheduled) for more than 48 hours for whatever reason all bets on this event shall be declared void.

If you had a pending IPL bet for a match, then your money should be settled as void by now. And if you had a pending IPL bet for the tournament, such as the outrights markets, then your bet will still be active, and will be settled after the tournament is scheduled to complete on June 3.

Rajabets App

200% up to ₹100,000

Rajabets was another impressive operator that we reached out during this period. Their customer support was quick and effective, and gave me the information I wanted about any pending IPL bets.

Here is what Rajabets informed us when we spoke to them:

"The IPL bets will be updated and refunded accordingly by the bet providers."

If the match is interrupted or postponed and does not continue in 48 hours after the scheduled time, the bets will be canceled (except for those outcomes that are clearly defined when the game was stopped).

These rules are similar across the board, which indicates that any pending IPL bets, such as match winners or batter totals, would be voided and refunded to you.

4rabet App

₹20,000 Bonus Package 700% Deposit Bonus

We liked 4rabet for the clarity they provided. When we reached out to them, they took a few minutes to go through the IPL rules and came back with clear information about any pending IPL bets.

Here is what we were told about any pending IPL bets:

"If the IPL is not renewed, your funds will be returned to you. Until the IPL officially decides to close the tournament - bets will be open, but otherwise they will be on pause until the games are resumed."

3.18 Outright bets are considered all in run or not and so will be settled as a loss if the selection does not take part in the event, unless otherwise stated. Dead heat rules apply where there is more than one winner. Bettors stakes are first divided by the number of selections who tied and then this portion of their stakes is settled as a winner and the rest settled as a loser.

Again, with 4rabet, you can rest assured that your money is safe, and won't be incorrectly settled as a loss simply because the IPL has been temporarily suspended.
