What are Dynamic Odds in Sports Betting?
Dynamic odds are odds that update in real time as you build or adjust a bet. Some betting apps now use this feature inside their Same Game Parlay builders and live markets to show you exactly how your total payout would change with each new selection.
Instead of having to look at the betslip to see what your odds will look like after adding a leg, dynamic odds instantly display the new odds. It gives you a live preview of your potential return before anything hits your bet slip.

On DraftKings, the Dynamic Odds feature is built directly into the Same Game Parlay (SGP) builder. You simply tap into a game, open the SGP tab, and toggle on the Dynamic Odds slider. Once enabled, as you browse through props, each one will show what your total parlay odds would become if you added that leg. For example, you add Player A over X yards, then while selecting Player B under Y yards, the displayed odds might jump to the updated total, not just the standalone odds for Player B. DraftKings verifies this setup for live NFL, MLB, and college football SGPs.

Dynamic Odds on Bet365
Bet365 includes its version of dynamic odds inside its Bet Builder. When you open a game and start creating a Same Game Parlay, you can toggle the dynamic odds view to see how your total odds would change before officially adding each leg. As you scroll through player props and game lines, Bet365 updates the projected parlay odds in real time, letting you preview the potential payout for every selection. It works almost identically to DraftKings’ setup.

How to Use Dynamic Odds to Bet
Start by picking the matchup you want to bet on, NFL, NBA, MLB, whatever’s live. Once you’re on that game’s page, tap the Same Game Parlay (SGP) tab. This is where betting apps now include their Dynamic Odds feature, letting you build your parlay and see the total odds change in real time.
Here’s where the fun starts. As you scroll through player props and game lines, you’ll see how Dynamic Odds update before you even add each pick to your bet slip.
Tap or hover over a prop (like Over 250.5 passing yards or Anytime Touchdown Scorer).
The total odds shown will instantly change to reflect what your new combined payout would be if you added that leg.
Keep adding or removing props to test different combinations; it updates automatically every time.
Some props might gray out once you’ve made a pick; that means they can’t be combined in the same parlay.
You can toggle Dynamic Odds on/off in your settings if you prefer the classic builder view.

My Thoughts on Dynamic Odds
Dynamic odds may not be everyone's preference, but once you start using them, it make parlay building easier. Before it was a thing, it took me longer to create a same game parlay, as I had to add and subtract legs to see what it did to the odds. Once you start using dynamic odds, it can be hard to go back.
The nice thing is, it's totally optional. You can use the feature whenever you'd like, but you can totally opt for the traditional method if you prefer.
