Growing up in England, betting was always part of the sporting culture. When I moved to the US for University at Northwestern, my longtime love of American sports found a home. I stayed in the States and actually made a living as a full-time bettor for a while.

After some years of doing that, the more stable world of writing about sports betting was pretty appealing. Now, I hope to impart the wisdom I've absorbed to the readers here at BettingApps.com!

I made my way into this industry as a freelance journalist. Primarily writing about sports, I found that the sports betting industry was growing and that was where to look for the biggest growth area in sports writing.

At BettingApps.com, I can combine my journalistic expertise, knowledge of the sports industry, with one of my favorite hobbies - online casinos. So on this site, you may see my name attached to anything from breaking news to the latest review of a casino app.

As a lifelong, long-suffering Philly fan, a passion for sports has always been in my blood. I always wanted to work in the industry and even worked for pro teams for a few years.

But once betting was legalized in New Jersey, I found a more casual way to incorporate my passion into my career. When I'm losing my Eagles bets, I like to try out different apps and see what provides users with the best possible experience! (at least that's what I tell Ben so I can deposit with the company card)

A young journalist myself, I grew up in the Bay Area and was inspired by nearby Silicon Valley to write about tech. In my time as a journalist, I learned everything there is to know about the behind-the-scenes aspects of what makes a great mobile app click.

Naturally, BettingApps.com is a project that allows me to combine my knowledge of tech with my love of sports. I love to try out every betting app and see which one allows me to create same game parlays with the most ease - just don't take my advice on Anytime Touchdown scorer bets!

A former semi-pro lacrosse player, I first got into sports betting by participating in a team that built an algorithm to predict NHL games. During this time I familiarized myself with the ins and outs of all sports betting apps, especially the odds and betting functions available.

With this experience, I know how hard it is to create value for yourself on a betting app. That's why I spend most of my time trolling for the best bonuses and promotions available- why lose your own money when you can play for as little as possible.
