Which Betting App Has the Best Same Game Parlay Builder?
Finding the Best Betting App for Same Game Parlays
Same Game Parlays have become one of the biggest parts of sports betting apps, but not every SGP builder feels the same once you start using them.
Some apps make it easy to stack player props, alternate lines, and game outcomes together in a few seconds. Others start to feel clunky once you try building anything beyond a basic parlay. Odds refresh constantly, certain combinations get rejected, and markets are missing. It became clear that some builders are clearly designed better than others.
Instead of just comparing features on paper, I wanted to see which betting apps make building Same Game Parlays smooth and enjoyable. That meant testing how flexible each builder felt, how quickly odds updated, how easy it was to edit legs, and which apps made the overall experience feel simple instead of frustrating.
When it comes to Same Game Parlays, the builder itself matters just as much as the odds. Being one of the most popular ways of mobile sports betting, finding the best app for Same Game Parlays became something I needed to find out for myself.
My Method for Testing SGP Builders
To evaluate each Same Game Parlay builder, I tested 8 top betting apps, using the same bet for consistency.
I came up with a 4-leg player prop parlay (ignore the fact that it went 1/4), and placed it on each app. The bet was:
Cade Cunningham Over 8.5 assists
James Harden Over 6.5 assists
Donovan Mitchell Over 2.5 three-pointers made
Ausar Thompson Over 6.5 rebounds
Some of them ended up a bit different, plus or minus a stat, due to a lack of market availability.
This helped me figure out which betting apps truly feel built around Same Game Parlays and which ones still create friction once you start building more complex bets.
SGP Test Scoring System
| Category | What I Measured |
|---|---|
| Ease of Building | How simple and intuitive the process felt when creating and editing Same Game Parlays |
| Odds Refresh Speed | How quickly odds updated while building Same Game Parlays |
| Market Availability | The depth of Same Game Parlay options, including player props, alternate lines, and niche markets |
| Bet Slip Experience | How responsive and organized the bet slip felt during the process |
| Unique Features | Tools and extras that made the Same Game Parlay builder stand out compared to other apps |
| Overall Experience | A combined score based on how smooth, fast, and enjoyable the Same Game Parlay builder felt overall |
To compare each app fairly, I graded the Same Game Parlay builder experience on a simple 1–10 scale across the categories below. After scoring each category, I took the average of those scores to determine the overall winner.

Breakdown of Each App I Tested
After testing each Same Game Parlay builder across, I ranked the apps based on their overall performance. Factors like ease of building, market depth, odds refresh speed, bet slip experience, and unique features all played a role in the final results. Here’s how each betting app stacked up from best to worst.
Fanatics Sportsbook
Filter by Player feature made building very easy
I knew exactly which players I wanted to bet on, and this feature let me narrow everything down quickly. It saved me a lot of scrolling compared to most other apps.
Not over cluttered, but still has market variety
Fanatics did a good job balancing simplicity with depth. I still had plenty of betting options without the screen feeling overcrowded.
Betslip could look better
The bet slip worked fine, but visually it looks a bit messy compared to some of the better apps I tested. It wasn’t bad, just not as polished.
Aside from quick builder, not the best layout
The Quick Parlay tools do a lot of the heavy lifting here. Once I stepped outside of those, the general SGP navigation wasn’t quite as smooth.
Fanatics Sportsbook emerged as the winner of this test, and it did so mostly due to one key feature. The 'quick parlay' and 'select by player' options take all of the work out of building a parlay. I went in knowing exactly which players I wanted to bet on, and was able to quickly select those 4 guys and get rid of all other props. It's also extremely easy to sort by which prop you are looking for. Any complaints are nitpicky, as the overall experience was great. If I had to have one, outside of those features, the SGP navigation isn't great, but the good thing is, there's no reason not to use those helpful tools.

Hard Rock Bet
Most visually satisfying SGP builder
I found Hard Rock Bet’s builder to be the cleanest in the test. It never felt cluttered or overwhelming, and it has a great color scheme, which made it more enjoyable to use.
Slider to adjust over/under lines for any player prop
This was one of the most unique features I tested. Instead of digging through alternate lines, I could quickly slide to the exact number I wanted.
Not many props available beyond the basics
Hard Rock covered the main props well, but it didn’t go as deep as some of the bigger apps. Once I wanted more niche options, it started to feel limited.
Default bet amounts in betslip are high
The bet slip suggested larger wager amounts than I’d expect by default. I found myself adjusting them down more often than on other apps.
Hard Rock Bet was a real contender for the #1 spot on the list. It may not be the biggest betting app, but it does so many things right. First off, it's so visually satisfying. I never got overwhelmed by the clutter. Rather than crowd the builder with alternate lines, Hard Rock Bet lets you customize your lines with a slider available under each prop. Most sportsbooks don't even show unders for alternate lines, whereas with the slider, there are still overs and unders available. It's not as deep as the top dogs, but it makes a very good case to become your go-to for building Same Game Parlays.

theScore Bet
Easy to look at, not overly stimulating
I liked how clean and simple theScore Bet’s SGP builder felt. It gave me what I needed without overwhelming me with too much on the screen.
Can take unders for alternate lines
A lot of apps make alternate props feel one-sided, but theScore let me build both overs and unders more freely. That gave me a little more flexibility when putting together a parlay.
Alt lines are in too big of intervals
The alternate lines jumped in larger increments than I would have liked. It made it harder for me to land on more realistic middle-ground options.
No option to filter by SGP eligible props
I had to do more scrolling than necessary to find what I was looking for. A simple SGP-only filter would have made the building process faster.
After a rebranding from ESPN Bet, theScore Bet has held its own as one of the top new betting apps. Similar to Hard Rock Bet, theScore Bet has a clean-looking SGP builder that isn't overrun by filler. Also, the odds were tied for the best I found in this test, which is obviously a huge plus. Feature-wise, being tied into theScore brand helps because you can get in-depth game previews with one click. The main gripe I have with it is that the regular over/under lines are buried beneath alternate lines that aren't very helpful. As you'll see later in this list, I'm not the biggest fan of the chart-looking displays of alternate lines with too big of intervals (showing odds for 15+ points, 20+ points, 25+ points, etc).

DraftKings Sportsbook
Dynamic odds feature gives unique way to view odds
DraftKings gives you a different way to visualize how odds move as you build a parlay, showing what the odds will become if you select the next leg. I found it to be a cool feature that made pricing feel more interactive.
GameScript feature helps build fast parlays
GameScript simplifies the process by building parlay ideas around game outcomes. It saved me time when I wanted to put something together quickly instead of picking every leg manually.
Odds lock up often & stay locked
I ran into more odds freezes here than on most other apps. At times, they stayed locked long enough to interrupt the building process.
A lot of scrolling required to find props
DraftKings has plenty of betting options, but finding standard props took more scrolling than I wanted. It felt a little less efficient than some of the cleaner builders.
DraftKings Sportsbook is definitely one of the better apps for building same game parlays. The layout is intuitive, but it features alternate odds too high, while standard over/under lines require a lot of scrolling to get to. Where it really stands out is with its special features that provide us with alternate ways to make parlays. It has a toggle to turn on Dynamic Odds, and simplifies SGPs with its GameScript parlay builder. However, it froze up when I quickly left the app and came back, and wouldn't let me select props until I backed out to the homepage and then went back into the game.

FanDuel Sportsbook
Filtered by Same Game Parlay props by default
FanDuel did a nice job of showing SGP-eligible props right away. I didn’t have to dig around as much to figure out what could actually be added to my parlay.
Easily check recent stats of featured players
I liked being able to quickly see recent player performance while building a bet. It gave me a little more context without needing to leave the app.
Overcluttered with player & game props
FanDuel offers a ton of options, but it can feel like too much at times. I found myself sorting through a lot of extra markets to get where I wanted.
YourWay bets have to be built in separate tab
FanDuel’s custom YourWay feature is useful, but it's disconnected from the main SGP builder. I would have liked it to be integrated into the same experience, as Hard Rock Bet does.
FanDuel Sportsbook's SGP builder is more than serviceable, but it doesn't top our list as the best in this area like it once did. Other betting apps have improved upon what FanDuel started by making their SGPs easier to build and not so hard to look at. I do love the market depth and different ways to build a parlay. FanDuel has some neat and helpful features, but to the casual bettor, they aren't as important. The YourWay bets are a great way to customize a parlay, but Hard Rock Bet does the same thing better with its easy slider. If you're an experienced bettor who doesn't mind taking a little extra time building SGPs, FanDuel Sportsbook is still a very good option.

Bet365
One of two apps with Dynamic Odds
Bet365 was one of the only apps in this test to offer Dynamic Odds. I liked having another way to visualize how the parlay price changed as I built it.
Total odds were superior with same bet
Using the same parlay, Bet365 gave me one of the best potential payouts in the test. That kind of value can make a real difference over time.
Player Milestones chart gets in the way
The milestones chart takes up a lot of space at the top of the builder. I found it more distracting than helpful when trying to find the exact props I wanted.
Visually confusing with subpar navigation
Bet365 packs in a lot of information, but the layout isn’t the easiest to follow. I found myself clicking around more than I wanted just to find basic props.
In my experience, Bet365 is never the best-looking betting app, but it always makes up for it in functionality. For SGPs, its standout feature is being the only sportsbook other than DraftKings to have an option for Dynamic Odds. More value Bet365 offers is providing great odds, as the +800 for this parlay was tied with the best I found (BetMGM showed +900 only because it made me take a different line). On the downside, it features a chart at the top of the SGP builder, again with big intervals between stats. I'd much rather see regular lines first, and have to dive deeper for alt lines, rather than the other way around.

Caesars Sportsbook
Easy to customize your bets
Caesars made it simple for me to tweak props and adjust selections while building a parlay. The customization tools felt straightforward and didn’t slow me down.
Navigation is smooth & fast
Moving between markets and adding legs felt quick on Caesars. I didn’t run into much lag while building my bet.
Had the worst odds for SGPs
Using the same parlay, Caesars gave me the lowest payout in the test. That’s a tough drawback when other apps were offering noticeably better value.
Odds shift frequently while building a bet
I noticed the odds changed more often here than on most other apps. It made the final price feel less stable while I was still putting the parlay together.
Caesars Sportsbook outperformed its rival, BetMGM, due to better customization and navigation. However, it fell short in one major area. While odds weren't exactly a key focus of this test, as I was more interested in how the SGPs function, they do matter a lot to bettors. Building the same parlay across 8 apps, Caesars Sportsbook had the total odds at +650, whereas they ranged from +700-800 on the rest. That is a significant value to miss out on.

BetMGM
Some unique props, such as player combos
BetMGM did offer a few prop types that stood out from the rest. I liked seeing combo markets that gave me a different way to build parlays.
Easy to filter by SGP eligible props
BetMGM made it clear which props could actually be added to a Same Game Parlay. That saved me time compared to apps that left me figuring it out as I went.
Missing basic over/under props, only has alt lines
This was my biggest frustration with BetMGM. I found it strange that simple over/under props were missing while alternate lines were available instead.
Very basic, no special features
Outside of the core SGP builder, BetMGM didn’t offer much that stood out. Compared to the other apps in this test, it felt pretty bare-bones.
And in last place in my test comes BetMGM. Overall, this was a disappointing result for a company that once called itself the "King of Parlays." The main beef I have with the SGP builder on BetMGM is the complete lack of basic over/under lines. How come my only options are alt lines for simple props like points, rebounds, or assists? As the betslip screenshot shows, I had to take Cade Cunningham for 10+ assists because his standard 8.5 line wasn't anywhere to be found. It does have over/under lines for player combos only (such as O/U player points + assists), which is very strange, since it offers O/U on those but not for single props. The rest of the builder is fine, but it did nothing to stand out over the rest.

Final Thoughts
After testing the same four-leg player prop parlay across eight betting apps, one thing became pretty clear: not all Same Game Parlay builders are created equal. Some apps made the process fast, simple, and enjoyable, while others added friction with cluttered layouts, limited markets, or strange restrictions that made building a basic SGP more annoying than it should have been.
Fanatics Sportsbook ultimately came out on top in my test, largely because of how much easier it made the building process. Features like Quick Parlay and Select by Player helped eliminate a lot of unnecessary scrolling and made it simple to find exactly what I wanted. Hard Rock Bet was right behind it, thanks to one of the cleanest builders in the group and a unique player prop slider that made customizing lines surprisingly fun to use. TheScore Bet also impressed with a clean layout and strong odds, while DraftKings and FanDuel stayed competitive because of their deep markets and special builder tools.
On the other end, Caesars Sportsbook and BetMGM both fell short for different reasons. Caesars delivered the weakest odds in the test, while BetMGM was hurt by limited basic prop options and a lack of standout features, which made it tough to justify against stronger SGP-focused apps.
Of course, a lot of this is preference, and you may disagree with my results after using these apps for yourself. However, I hope this test provided some helpful insight for those who are looking for the best place to build Same Game Parlays.
SGP Testing FAQs
Based on my testing, Fanatics Sportsbook finished with the highest overall score thanks to its Quick Parlay and Select by Player tools, which made building Same Game Parlays faster and easier than the competition. Hard Rock Bet and theScore Bet were also strong contenders.
In this test, FanDuel scored highest for market availability because it offered strong depth across player props, alternate lines, and different ways to build Same Game Parlays.
Sportsbooks use correlation rules to block certain combinations that are too closely connected. That’s why some props or game outcomes can’t always be combined, even if they seem related.
A few apps stood out here. Fanatics Sportsbook had Quick Parlay and Select by Player, Hard Rock Bet featured a unique prop slider, and DraftKings offered tools like Dynamic Odds and GameScript to create alternate ways to build parlays.
The best Same Game Parlay builders combine easy navigation, strong market depth, fast odds updates, a smooth bet slip, and unique tools that make building parlays quicker and more enjoyable.
