BetMGM is running a special promotion every weekend of this season's NFL Playoffs. Betting on touchdown scorers is a favorite prop for football bettors, and now the stakes are raised thanks to the 'Longest Touchdown Jackpot' promo.
The 'Longest Touchdown Jackpot' promotion, as it sounds, is about bettors choosing who they think will score the longest touchdown across all the games that weekend. It is a very creative betting app promotion that adds a new way for bettors to win big.
Each weekend, the $250,000 prize pot is split among all bettors who correctly bet on the player who scores the longest touchdown.
For example, in the first weekend of the NFL playoffs, Ladd McConkey scored an 86-yard touchdown, the longest all weekend. 377 people on BetMGM chose him, so they all received a $662 bonus bet.
McConkey was one of the most bet-on players, so the potential winnings can increase drastically if a more obscure player scores the longest touchdown.
It is similar to the DraftKings Sportsbook 'King of the End Zone' promo, but has a handful of different rules.
'Longest Touchdown Jackpot' entries are only anytime touchdown scorer bets, excluding First TD scorers, parlays, and multiple TD scorer bets.
