King of the Diamond is focused on player home run parlays. Select 2-5 players that you think will hit a home run for the highest scoring team that day, and place at least $5 on that qualifying parlay.

How does the King of the Diamond Promo Work?

- Place a $5+ Player Home Run Parlay
Choose 2-5 players to hit a home run as part of your boosted parlay. This bet must be at least $5 to qualify ($25 max). Watch the Games Play Out

Your full parlay doesn’t need to hit. As long as you picked a player who becomes a King of the Diamond, you still win bonus bets.
DraftKings King of the Diamond Rules
Here are some rules and scenarios to help you understand the King of the Diamond promo:
- Only Home Run Hitters on the Highest-Scoring Team Qualify: A player must hit at least one home run and play for the highest-scoring MLB team (from eligible games) to be named a “King of the Diamond.”
Multiple Players Can Win: If multiple players on the top-scoring team hit home runs, all of them are considered Kings of the Diamond. Anyone who wagered on any of those players will split the prize pool.
Tied Teams Count: If two or more teams tie as the highest-scoring on the slate, all HR hitters from all tied teams qualify as Kings, and bettors who picked them will share the jackpot.
Equal Payout, Regardless of Entries: Picking more than one winning player does not increase your share. All eligible bettors split the prize equally, even if some picked multiple winners.
Fallback Rule: If the highest-scoring team had no home run hitters, DraftKings will look to the next-highest-scoring team, and continue down the list until at least one qualifying HR is found. Voided parlay legs do not disqualify entries if valid HR legs remain.
- Eligible Games: Only MLB games that started at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time are eligible for King of the Diamond. That means if the highest scoring team was from a 1:00 p.m. game, none of their players are eligible to win, and it will go to the highest scoring team out of the eligible games
Strategy for DraftKings King of the Diamond
There is a lot of strategy that comes with creating a qualifying parlay for King of the Diamond.
You have to factor in whether it is more important to you to give your initial bet a chance to win, or go for the longshot of picking the King of the Diamond winner.
Since your qualifying parlay doesn't have to win in order for your bet to remain eligible, creating a 5-leg parlay gives you more chances at picking the King. However, it is also much harder to win your initial bet than if you had made a 2-leg parlay.
Remember, your qualifying bet is boosted by up to 50%, so even if you don't pick the King, you can still win a juicy home-run parlay!
